About Tinyverse

Tinyverse is a parent-to-parent marketplace operated by Tinyverse Solutions in Kenya. We connect parents wishing to sell quality used baby and kids items with families looking to buy them. We also offer personalised back-to-school gift sets for children across Kenya.

These Terms of Use apply to all interactions with Tinyverse, including use of our website at www.mytinyverse.com and communication via WhatsApp at 0790 784 084.

Our Role as a Facilitator

Tinyverse acts as an advertising and connection service between sellers and buyers. We are not a party to any transaction between them. We do not take possession of any item listed through our platform and do not handle payment between buyers and sellers for marketplace transactions.

When you sell through Tinyverse, you are selling directly to another parent. When you buy, you are buying directly from another parent. Tinyverse facilitates the connection and handles advertising on behalf of the seller.

Seller Responsibilities

As a seller on Tinyverse, you agree to:

• Only list items that are genuinely in your possession and available for sale
• Describe the condition of your item honestly and accurately, including any wear, damage, or missing parts
• Only list items in a safe, usable condition suitable for another family
• Not list any item that is broken, recalled, involved in an accident, or otherwise unsafe
• Set your own price and negotiate directly with buyers
• Meet buyers safely and in accordance with the guidelines in our Seller’s Guide
• Complete transactions honestly and deliver the item as described

By sending your listing to Tinyverse, you grant us permission to advertise your item on our social media channels and community groups. You retain ownership of your item and all proceeds from any sale.

Buyer Responsibilities

As a buyer connecting with sellers through Tinyverse, you agree to:

• Inspect items thoroughly before completing payment
• Communicate honestly with sellers about your intentions
• Meet in safe, public locations and treat sellers with respect
• Not engage in fraudulent behaviour, including false payment confirmations
• Understand that Tinyverse is not liable for the condition of items purchased from sellers

Gift Set Orders

When ordering personalised gift sets through Tinyverse:

• A 30% deposit is required via M-Pesa to Till Number 5002337 to confirm your order and begin personalisation
• The remaining 70% balance is payable on delivery
• Personalisation details must be accurate at the time of ordering. Tinyverse is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information provided by the customer
• Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to circumstances outside our control
• Deposits are non-refundable once personalisation has begun, unless the error was made by Tinyverse

Prohibited Items and Conduct

The following are not permitted on Tinyverse:

• Car seats or other items involved in a road accident
• Recalled or safety-flagged products
• Counterfeit or stolen goods
• Adult items unrelated to children or parenting
• Any item illegal to sell in Kenya
• Misleading or fraudulent listings

Tinyverse reserves the right to refuse to advertise any item that does not meet our standards, without obligation to provide a reason.

Limitation of Liability

Tinyverse is a facilitating service and does not guarantee the accuracy of item descriptions provided by sellers, the outcome of any transaction, or the behaviour of any buyer or seller.

To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, Tinyverse shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense arising from transactions conducted between buyers and sellers through our platform.

Intellectual Property

The Tinyverse name, logo, and all website content are the property of Tinyverse Solutions. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any part of our brand or content without written permission.

By sending us photos of your items for advertising, you grant Tinyverse a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use those photos for the purpose of advertising your listing. This licence ends when your item is sold or you withdraw your listing.

Changes to These Terms

Tinyverse may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Tinyverse after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
